|9/21/2018||Earl Thomas, Sea, S|
|Thomas was at practice on Friday but did not take part because of reasons of a personal nature, according to coach Pete Carroll. Carroll left open the possibility that the issue - that he wouldn't detail - could keep Thomas from playing Sunday in the team's home opener against the Cowboys.
Analysis: Thomas did not take part in practice on Wednesday either and was listed on the team's injury report as being out for non-injury reasons. He returned to practice on Thursday before missing the team's final practice of the week on Friday. Carroll confirmed that his absence had nothing to do with an injury.
|9/21/2018||Marvin Jones Jr., Det, WR|
|Jones has been added to the Lions' final injury report for Sunday's game against New England. The wide receiver is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
Analysis: Jones practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday, so it's unclear when he got hurt and how serious the injury is. Golden Tate and Kenny Golladay were already strong fantasy plays after getting off to great starts, and each could see more targets if Jones ends up being held out.
|9/21/2018||Everson Griffen, Min, DE|
|Griffen will miss Sunday's game against Buffalo with a knee injury.
Analysis: Griffen didn't practice all week but wasn't limited in last week's game at Green Bay, so his injury doesn't appear to be a long-term issue. Though Minnesota will be without its best pass rusher, Josh Allen will still have a daunting matchup in his second career start.
|9/21/2018||Corey Clement, Phi, RB|
|Clement was added to Friday's injury report with a quadriceps issue and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Analysis: The belief is the Eagles were simply giving Clement some time off, as he's slated to operate as the No. 1 running back on Sunday with both Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles ruled out. The second-year pro could be worth a fantasy start this week, though players should keep an eye on the inactives list before putting him in lineups.
|9/21/2018||Jalen Ramsey, Jax, CB|
|Ramsey is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tennessee after being added to the final injury report with an ankle issue.
Analysis: Ramsey has been dealing with a sore ankle since the start of the season but didn't miss a defensive snap in any of the first two games. His availability for Sunday's matchup doesn't appear to be in question.
|9/21/2018||Richard Sherman, SF, CB|
|Sherman is expected to play Sunday at Kansas City despite being held out of Thursday's practice with a heel injury.
Analysis: Sherman's placement on the injury report at first raised some eyebrows considering he underwent surgery last November to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon, but 49ers coach Mike Shanahan said the cornerback's absence was just precautionary. "He's had some wear and tear on his heel ... We're taking it smart with him," Shanahan said.

|9/20/2018||Sam Darnold, NYJ, QB|
|Sam Darnold was 15 of 31 for 169 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Thursday in the New York Jets' 21-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked two times.|
|9/20/2018||Tyrod Taylor, Cle, QB|
|Tyrod Taylor was 4 of 14 for 19 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Thursday in the Cleveland Browns' 21-17 win over the New York Jets. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times. Taylor added 22 rushing yards on four carries.|
|9/20/2018||Baker Mayfield, Cle, QB|
|Baker Mayfield was 17 of 23 for 201 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Thursday in the Cleveland Browns' 21-17 win over the New York Jets. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.|
|9/20/2018||Tyrod Taylor, Cle, QB|
|Taylor left Thursday night's game against the Jets after suffering a concussion in the first half.
Analysis: Taylor was slow getting up after being sacked for the third time and after being evaluated in the medical tent, was taken to the locker room for treatment. At halftime, the Browns said Taylor has a head injury and will not return. Taylor was ineffective during his time on the field, going 4 of 14 for 19 yards.
|9/20/2018||Rob Gronkowski, NE, TE|
|Gronkowski (ankle) is not on the Patriots' final injury report for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Analysis: Gronkowski was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice but worked fully Friday, and his injury was never thought to be serious. The perennial All-Pro should reclaim his usual TE1 status following a down week in which he was held to two catches for 15 yards by Jacksonville's stout secondary last Sunday.
|9/20/2018||C.J. Mosley, Bal, LB|
|Mosley, hobbled by a bone bruise in his left knee that forced him to exit Baltimore's Week 2 game at Cincinnati, resumed practicing on a limited basis Thursday.
Analysis: Mosley, the Ravens' leader with 132 tackles in 2017, reportedly was still favoring his leg and his status for Sunday's game against Denver remains in doubt. On the positive side, the valuable linebacker did not suffer any ligament damage and may just miss one game at the most.
|9/20/2018||Donte Jackson, Car, CB|
|Jackson (groin) returned to practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
Analysis: Jackson may have a chance to play after getting in some work Friday, which should help out a secondary about to get a heavy dose of A.J. Green. The 2018 second-round pick has started each of Carolina's first two games.
|9/20/2018||Da'Norris Searcy, Car, S|
|Searcy has been placed on injured reserve after sustaining a concussion in last week's game at Atlanta.
Analysis: Searcy was also concussed during the preseason, so the Panthers will wisely let him heal up. It's no guarantee the veteran safety will be cleared to return later in the season. Either Colin Jones or rookie Rashaan Gaulden will take his spot in the starting lineup.
